OneCart AI ("we", "us") operates a product discovery and price comparison service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We only describe practices the service actually performs.

What we collect

• Account details you provide if you create an account (email address and, if you choose, a display name).
• Content you create in the product: saved wishlists, shopping lists, saved searches and price alerts.
• Search queries you submit, including natural-language queries sent to our AI search feature.
• Anonymous or pseudonymous usage events, such as which products and pages were viewed and which search results were selected, used to improve search relevance and ranking quality.
• Referral click events: when you follow a retailer link, we record which offer was clicked and when, so the referral can be attributed.
• Standard technical request data such as approximate timestamp and browser-supplied information.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect or store payment card numbers or bank details. Checkout always happens on the retailer's own website.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not buy personal data about you from third parties.

Affiliate and referral links, and click tracking

Some links to retailers are affiliate or referral links. When you follow one, we record the click for attribution and, where a retailer or affiliate network supports it, the network may set its own cookie or identifier to credit a qualifying purchase. Any commission we may receive never influences our rankings, price comparisons or recommendations. Ranking uses shopper-facing signals such as price, shipping, delivery speed, availability and seller quality only.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use only what the site needs to function: storage required to keep you signed in, and storage used to remember your preferences. Affiliate networks and retailers you visit through our links may set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.

Third-party merchant websites

When you continue to a retailer to complete your purchase, that retailer's own privacy policy and terms apply to your activity, order and payment there. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party retailers.

Voice search

If you use the microphone button in the search bar, speech recognition is performed by your own browser or operating system. OneCart AI receives only the resulting text, which is handled exactly like a typed search query. Your microphone is only accessed after you activate it.

AI search

Natural-language search queries may be processed by a third-party AI model provider solely to interpret your query and produce search results. We do not send your account identity or contact details for that purpose.

Data retention

• Account and saved content: kept while your account exists, and deleted on request.
• Search and click events: retained in aggregate or pseudonymous form for service quality and attribution, and removed when no longer needed for those purposes.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we will update the effective date above.
